will instagram ban female nipples if they're on a guy's body?

In the wake of male nipples being co-opted by women on Instagram, actor and #freethenipple newbie Matt McGorry just joined in on the movement. Matt's a self-proclaimed feminist, often speaking about gender equality and the role of male feminists. Being the smart, funny guy he is, Matt decided to #freethenipple by posting an image of himself with offensive female nipples photoshopped over his own. The nipples belong to Miley Cyrus and Chrissy Teigen, whose own nipple-baring photos were deleted from Instagram. Along with the image, Matt posted some lengthy thoughts on the topic:

"You might be thinking to yourself, there are way more important issues out there than women being able to expose their bumpy buttons whenever men can. But it's not just about getting an even tan; it's one piece of the puzzle of creating deep change in the way our society objectifies women and creates these different standards for men and women (and other genders)."

Matt's photo hasn't been deleted by the Instagram overlords, and you can read his full explanation here.
