what went down at eckhaus latta's berlin fashion week party
Berlin’s fashion and art scene gathered at abandoned factory, Alte Teppichfabrik.
Last Friday, Eckhaus Latta traveled from the US to Germany to show Berliners their idea of a good time. Partnering with New York's Made Fashion Week, Eckhaus' event marked the beginning of a bright new dawn for the relationship between New York and Berlin fashion. German label Ottolinger will show its next collection in NYC, so it's a designer exchange of sorts.
The night began with a dinner hosted by Ottolinger before Eckhaus Latta turned the location into a secondhand fashion emporium. Ropes stretched from wall to wall and vintage clothes pegged onto them, which guests were invited to try on. Techno princess Sita Abellan was on the decks, playing until the very last pieces were pulled down.
