The Italian edition of Grazia broke the news today that Rihanna has plans to launch her own fashion label. It will be called "$CHOOL KIlls." The LLC was registered in New York in May with that exact stylization — dollar sign; lower-case "lls" — and was filed under the "leather products" and "clothing products" categories.

TBH, it is almost surprising that Ri has not made the step sooner. This is not the first time Robin has dabbled in clothing design. The singer created two collaborative collections with British high street retailer River Island in 2013 (with help from her costumer designer, Adam Selman). "They gave me creative freedom to do whatever I wanted to do," she said of the design process (of course they did; no one tells this queen what to do.) But hopefully with her own label she'll be able to let her creative light shine even brighter.

Ri's musical output has been on the quiet side of late — we've been waiting for her new album since 2012. So let's hope it's because she's been masterminding a collection worthy of her greatness. A "close source" told Grazia that "she will continue to release singles and albums, but she's had plans in place to expand in other areas like fashion, for a good few years now." Apparently she will begin by releasing leather goods before moving into clothing.

If $CHOOL KIlls takes inspiration from Ri's own wardrobe, as the River Island collections did, please, please let there be a commercial version of her Met Ball gown.
