#isitevil: women are tweeting their weirdest teen memories to lena dunham
'Teenage girls are the MOST incredible creatures,' the 'Lenny' editor wrote on Twitter yesterday. As if you had any doubt.
If you didn't manage to snag a copy of the decade-old teenage diary that Lena Dunham surprise-dropped yesterday, at least spend a few minutes reading the brilliantly insane and heartwarmingly honest teen memories that women are sharing in its wake. Following her announcement yesterday of Is It Evil Not to Be Sure? — a collection of journals written between the fall of 2005 and the spring of 2006 — Dunham asked her followers to share their own recollections of being 19 years old. "Teenage girls are the MOST incredible creatures," the Lenny editor wrote on Twitter. "Tweet me your best memory from the year you were 19 with #isitevil and I'll RT my faves." Whether or not you've ever personally woken up hungover only to realize you'd lost your $25k prosthetic arm, the "GIRL I FEEL YOU" feeling is palpable.
