Some of us like to hear time honoured classics, others like a few bangers and the latest remixes, and we think it's always good to hear something you can sing along with whether it's the catchiest pop remix or something special from Abba. Whatever it is you've had on your playlist this year we'd like to add the best of yesterday, today and tomorrow. It's been hard to select just 10 disco fans, when we hear Jimmy Sommerville is releasing a new album that is in fact a homage to disco and Holly Johnson pulled out all the stops on his recent tour. We put a shout out and here's what you came up with, voted for by the people for the people!

1. Sylvester, You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)

You said Sylvester has always got the feel good factor, and it's true this classic has truly stood the test of time!

2. Chic, Le Freak

We witnessed Nile Rodgers performing this live when Prince came to town... still ruling.

3. Icona Pop feat Charli XCX, I Love it (Sick Individuals Remix)

Out and out pop! We want to hear this every time we go out for a dance!

4. Patrick Cowley, Menergy DJ Tony Belony Edit

Listen here

Inspiration brought up to date with an edit, swooping synths lines, non stop and glorious!

5. Pet Shop Boys, Bolshy

From the album Electric, in fact all tracks are pure disco joy!

6. Nicki Minage, Anaconda J24 (Amazon Bass Remix)

The buns of steel Miss Minage she knows no bounds! Contraversal and bump and grind.

7. Madonna, Get Into The Groove

We had to include Madonna, course we did. And yes she's back in 2015 with a new album and a tour celebrating her career. Love her or hate her she reigns as the queen of pop like no other.

8. The 2 Bears, Not This Time

This year The 2 Bears served up a slice of dance that has got us all in a tizz. Their album 'The Night Is Young' is a properly club orientated offering that we can't get enough of.

9. Donna Summer, Last Dance

The legacy of Donna Summer epitomises disco through the decades.

10. Shirley Bassey, This Is My Life (Disco Version)

Yes there is a disco version! OMG! What an icon Dame Shirely Bassey is!!!!
