As Juliet Capulet once famously said, ''parting is such sweet sorrow.'' We couldn't be more sorrowful about Gisele's retirement from the runway even if we tried. Yes, that's right, after 20 years in the business, the Brazilian beauty responsible for making Havaianas cool, who graced the cover of i-D not once but six times, and who, for the last 10 years, has been the highest earning supermodel in the world, has stalked the catwalk for the last time. Walking for Brazilian fashion brand Colcci last night during Såo Paulo Fashion Week, Gisele ended her modeling career in the very place it began, her home country of Brazil. But fear not, although she will be taking time out to spend with her husband, quarterback hunk Tom Brady, and her two adorable kids, the 34-year-old has vowed to continue working in the industry, so watch this space!
