We know, you're probably still recovering from "Real Friends," Yeezy's unwaveringly beautiful return to his pre-808s earnest sounds. But you've got to hear Erykah Badu's take on the track. She's flipped it into a joint called "Trill Friends," which dropped on her Soundcloud with a simple shoutout: "what's up Yeezy?"

You might remember the reference Kendrick Lamar throws Ms. Badu's way during "No More Parties In LA"the snippet of another Ye cut that follows "Real Friends." Kendrick raps, "Well cutie, I like your bougie booty/come Erykah Badu me" (It hits around the 5:05 minute mark, if you feel like refreshing your memory). Maybe that's what inspired Erykah to take on the instrumental.

In the original track, Kanye talks of being an absentee friend, but Erykah doesn't get down on herself. Instead, she calls out the homeboys and girls we "wish we never knew at all". According to Erykah, the cut is off an upcoming mixtape, THIS $h!t TOO EASY. We'll be here waiting, Erykah, but in the meantime, we'll happily put your last mixtape on. That take on Drake's Hotling Bling is classic.
