Just as we're recovering from the news that Barb is 100 percent, totally, completely dead, and not going to make a miraculous, blouse-busting return, we've been hit by another Stranger Things emotional blow. In a chat with The Hollywood Reporter, Noah Schnapp who plays Will (and Will's incredibly lifelike stuffed double) revealed he doesn't have glowing hopes for the poor kid.

After spending most of the season freezing and alone in a dystopian mirror world, the first season closed with a recently returned Will experiencing a brief flashback and throwing up a slug. Many fans speculated whether the slimy critter would grow into the primary threat for the new season, or if Will would act as some kind of bridge between the worlds.

Noah has a grimmer perspective. While he admits he isn't sure what's officially planned for his long-suffering character, his guess is "that maybe he's going to become evil in the next season." He thinks the coughed up slug is either a baby Demogorgon or Demogorgon larvae, "maybe he's incubating or holding these eggs inside of him and he's trying to fight his good side against his bad side in the next season."

As an actor, it's understandable that he's down to jump into an internal good vs evil, Kylo Ren-style storyline, but we're not sure we're quite ready for it.
