Opening Ceremony has launched a special capsule collection to coincide with Pride Week in New York City. The range includes t-shirts, caps and sweatshirts with the logos of five famous LGBT bars proudly emblazoned on them. Opening Ceremony launched the pieces with an Instagram post stating that the decision to create the line came as a response to "seeing so many iconic #LGBTQ landmarks close down."

The statement echoes concerns that gay and lesbian bars in NYC are on the decline despite there being an increasingly visible LGBT community. "We went on a mission to highlight this legacy of bars — past and present — that cultivated communities still thriving within New York's nightlife," the brand adds.

With the world still shaken by the Pulse Nightclub tragedy, Opening Ceremony has also expressed its solidarity to the cause and will donate 100 percent of all profits to the Pulse Victims Fund.
