It has almost been a month since Donald Trump was named President-Elect of the United States, but the anguish felt by those who didn't vote for him (and some of those who did) is still all too real. Hence the enduring poignancy of the stripped-back song "November 9th" that Willow Smith wrote just hours after the election result. The unstoppable i-D fave has now given the lullaby-like track an even more emotional makeover, performing an acoustic version of it at a cocktail event to celebrate Chanel's 13th Métiers d'Art show. "Thank You @chanelofficial for allowing me to perform this song live for the first time," Willow wrote on Instagram. She was recently named ambassador (and campaign star) for the French brand.

"Baby girl, I know you're tired / Don't let the world put out your fire / Take my hand and you will see / Sadness and anger aren't everything," Willow sings in a clip from the one-and-a-half-minute song. Those in attendance included G-Dragon, Pharrell, Rowan Blanchard, and Willow's mom Jada. Her brother Jaden, meanwhile, has been busy with his own more futuristic project
