Beautiful people, social media juggernauts and BFFs Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner are set to turn their insta-famous friendship tag CaKe into a fashion label, according to a report by the Sun. Having worn matching 'CaKe Tour' slogan T-shirts to a Taylor Swift gig last year, the duo trademarked the brand name in the summer and apparently now have more designs for tops and hats, and may even have their sights set on bricks and mortar stores.
A very breathy 'source' tells the newspaper, "Kendall is the driving force behind the brand. They both see it as a bit of fun but are secretly confident it will do well. They're two of the most photographed women in the world so the brand is going to be picked up by millions of fans. The ultimate aim is for CaKe to have its own stores in the UK and US".
While opening physical stores seems a little far-fetched, the concept of Cara and Kendall launching a fun fashion range has real precedent. Kendall already has several fashion lines in collaboration with her sister Kylie, selling at retailers including Topshop, and Cara recently started selling a line of The Future Is Female slogan sweatshirts for charity -- a move that was considered controversial due to the garment's similarity to a design she had previously worn that was created by lesbian seperatist Liza Cowan and feminist LA design studio Otherwild.
