Following months of anticipation, the doors to the new Fondazione Prada in Milan will be opened to the public tomorrow. Alongside galleries and an education center designed by students at the prestigious architecture school of Versailles, the Wes Anderson-designed Bar Luce sits sweetly, crying out for fans of the director to daydream away their afternoons amongst the candy-colored furniture. Inspired by one of the world's oldest shopping malls, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, Anderson has filled the space with 1950's formica tables, jukeboxes and even a Steve Zissou pinball machine. BONUS FEATURE: promises of a beautifully nostalgic soundtrack (whatever else?) make the dream complete.

Bar Luce opens on May 9. Opening hours: 9am-10pm
