there's a new 'suicide squad' trailer and it's complete madness

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's a contingent of crazed antiheroes teaming together to fight against a greater evil in exchange for freedom.

Playing out to the familiar tune of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody," a new trailer for upcoming anti-superhero epic Suicide Squad has been released. With a stellar line-up of actors and a fresh take on the played-out format of previous superhero franchises, we were already pretty excited about this forthcoming release. But adding fuel to the explosive fire, the trailer promises the eccentricity and chaos we were hoping for and then some. Particular highlights include Margot Robbie's utterly unhinged portrayal of super-villain and former psychiatrist Harley Quinn, a glimpse of Cara Delevingne's Enchantress, and some devilish one-liners from Jared Leto's Joker: "I can't wait to show you my toys."

Directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith as Deadshot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, as well as a host of other Hollywood names, Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 5, 2016.
