The second trailer for Tom Ford's hotly anticipated thriller Nocturnal Animals has arrived and it's even better than the first. Cue gunshots, flashbacks, screaming, dramatic music, and the haunting words of Jake Gyllenhaal: "Nobody gets away with what you did." #Burn. While it starts off quite calmly — Amy Adams's character and Jake's are seen sitting at a restaurant table seemingly reminiscing about the good times — soon the flashbacks start, the music picks up, and everyone's facial expressions become a lot more sombre.

In case you've been living under a rock: Nocturnal Animals is Tom Ford's latest cinematic offering. It follows an LA gallery owner called Susan (Adams) who is sent an unsettling novel by her estranged ex-husband (Gyllenhaal), and is based on Austin Wright's gripping novel Tony and Susan. What unfolds is a tale of love, loss, violence, and, ultimately, revenge. Ahead of the film's November 23 release (put it in your diary), whet your appetite with the new trailer, below.
