From Kendall and Kylie Jenner to Gigi and Bella Hadid, celebrity sisters are in in in, and Kelsey and Baylee (never Bailey) Soles have been taking the fashion world by storm with their twin vibes and carefree attitudes. Growing up in "the middle of nowhere" (30 minutes outside of Hopkins, South Carolina to be exact), strip malls and car dealerships were a big part of the twins' childhood - modelling wasn't even an option, until, that is, their father sent them to model finishing school when he could no longer stand their goth makeup and grunge clothing.

Now 19 years old, the girls are breathtakingly beautiful. They're also totally identical, apart from Kelsey's locks are bleached blonde and Baylee's are brunette. Despite only being in the game for a couple of seasons, the girls have already carved a name out for themselves, having walked for the likes of Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, and Marc Jacobs, and having recently starred in campaigns for Lanvin and Calvin Klein. With exciting projects in the pipeline, the future looks very bright for these two.

How would you describe each other?

Kelsey: I would describe Baylee as an introvert that loves to be an extrovert until her inner introvert gets really tired of being extroverted… if that makes sense. I think she would describe me as the same. She has a great sense of humour and knows how to have fun. We can't stop laughing when we're together.

Baylee: Kelsey is everyone's friend unless you touch her food or wake her up; then it's war!

How did you get discovered?

Baylee: My father was worried about the amount of make-up we were slathering on our faces so my parents enrolled us in a local teen modelling class at Millie Lewis Columbia after school. I immediately fell in love with the teacher, Sheilah Dixon. After a few months, I went through a growth spurt unexpectedly, growing from 5 feet tall to a ginormous string bean of 5'11. And then Sheilah became our mother agent!

What does modelling mean to you?

Baylee: Modelling is a way for me to get outside of my own head and create something amazing with a whole team whose job it is to be creative. In a shoot, you can be whoever you want to be. You're actually creating a work of art.

What's been your highlight s far?

Baylee: This past season has been so amazing it's hard to choose! I got to work with legends that have worked on iconic shoots that I've stored in a Pinterest board for inspiration!

Kelsey: We had so much fun working with the Calvin Klein team for an upcoming project!

How did it feel to star in a campaign for Lanvin?

Kelsey: It feels so unreal! Our London agency, FM, called us saying it was confirmed and we cried. Such a dream come true working with such icons.

How do you feel about everybody comparing you to the Hadids or the Jenners or being fashion's latest 'it' kids?

Kelsey: They seem like sweet girls who are just trying to make it in this industry just like the rest of us! I am sure we have had completely different route to modelling. However I am just glad to be a part of the new sister sister movement that's happening right now.

Baylee: They seem like great people and everything but twins are better forever. I think we have had very different childhoods and the way we came into the industry, but in the end we all just want to be really good models and human beings so I hope we can accomplish that.

Do you have that psychic twin connection?

Kelsey: We can communicate with a look, but not with our minds over long distances. It's quite inconvenient actually.

Baylee: It's more like we can easily communicate through looks. If you slap her, I will feel nothing except her hatred for you.

I read that you weren't allowed to go to each other's castings, why is that?

Kelsey: When had the same hair we used to go to each others castings and the other one would just wait in the lobby. I remember that a casting director got irritated because of it once; therefore it's been a no no ever since.

Baylee: Since we have realised that we are in fact, separate people, we have learned if a client requests one twin, then only that twin should go.

Do you prefer working together or apart?

Kelsey: Working apart allows us to spread our wings and fly solo but working together rules.

Aside from modelling what are you into?

Baylee: I really like theme parks, anything sporty. Cooking, drawing flowers, college classes, and hanging with my friends and family. I have also been exploring more on my free days, going on little adventures with Kelsey to see new things.

What are your hopes and dreams for the future?

Kelsey: I hope that I can continue on this path wherever it leads, and make a million more memories and experiences.

Baylee: To have a successful and long career; spend as much time with my family as possible; be a good role model; play with a lot of cats; make a lot of memories, and be happy.
