Well, what a weekend that was! With our very own i-D Mix stage at Field Day in association with Russian Standard Vodka, it's safe to say that good times were had all round. There were vibes from the off as i-D's DJ Hutch warmed things up with DJ Barely Legal before the rich and soulful Honne boys took to the stage. Up next was Butterz' Elijah & Skilliam who lifted the roof with educational blends of classic and new grime before Mumdance stepped up with an onslaught of rave and hardcore. Original Swedish Sad Boy producer Yung Gud laid down that hip hop and rap goodness mixed with a pleasantly surprising array of underground UK music that set the crowd off nicely before a super hype set from New York rap collective Ratking. PC Music's A. G. Cook lightened the mood with the label's trademark shiny happy pop set to a background of dreamy pastel visuals before Warp's Future Brown hit us with their hazy hybrid of electronic, rap and grime. The day was brought to a joyous climax by Cashmere Cat, who provided us a with a divine onslaught of music, effortlessly selected and energetically mixed. And yes - he played the one with Ariana Grande.

After the show came the after party, which took place at The Ace Hotel in Shoreditch and rolled on into the early hours. Basically, if you weren't there, you missed out big time! Shouts to DJ's Funster, Moxie (NTS) and Hutch (i-D) who kept the love alive through the night.

Left wanting more? Keep an eye on our music page for a series of exclusive live sets direct from the i-D Mix Field Day stage. Plus, we'll be back with another i-D Mix event in July. STAY TUNED.
