Oi, you. It’s Monday. What better way to start the week than by buying yourself a new T-shirt. Preferably a limited edition one. Go on, you deserve it! Okay, now you’re committed to that, may we suggest this one?

To celebrate the launch of i-D’s Post Truth Truth Issue we’re releasing a limited run of T-shirts designed in collaboration with Awake. The T-shirts, of which only 500 are available, were designed by i-D’s new Editor-in-Chief Alastair McKimm and the founder of Awake NY (and former Brand Director of Supreme) Angelo Baque.

The Awake NY x i-D collection forms part of the celebrations for i-D’s Autumn 2019 issue, which features cover stars FKA twigs, Kevin Abstract, Tyshawn Jones, Zoë Kravitz, Fernando Lindez and Mona Tougaard. The tees will be available online and in store at Dover Street Market in New York and London, where an issue launch party will take place this Saturday.

“From its very beginning, i-D has always been at the forefront of promoting creative talent and youth culture in fashion, music and the arts,” said Angelo in a statement. “It is a great honour for Awake NY to be able to work on a T-shirt that not only expands on i-D’s cultural legacy, but also commemorates the first issue under Alastair McKimm as Editor-In-Chief."

The Awake NY x i-D collection are available now in store at Dover Street Market in New York and London, at The Trading Museum in Paris, and online from i-D and soon to be available from Awake NY.
