As far as celebrity kids go, Lourdes Leon -- the 22-year-old daughter of Madonna -- has kept a fairly low profile, only crossing the public’s radar by way of paparazzi shots, or the odd spot of promotion for the line she co-designs with her famous mum, aptly titled Material Girl (and still available at Macy’s, FYI).

It seems that she might be finally ready to step into the spotlight: making her high fashion debut recently in the Spring 19 Miu Miu campaign, lensed by David Sims, she’s now been unveiled as the face of Supreme’s latest drop, this time in collaboration with the legendary French couturier Jean-Paul Gaultier -- also, in a touch of serendipity, the man behind Madonna’s infamous Blonde Ambition cone bra.

A crossover collection between the streetwear giant and a designer best known for his show-stopping, sexed-up gowns might seem an unusual pairing at first, but Gaultier was keen to emphasise in an interview with Vogue that sportswear has been an essential part of his label from the very beginning. “It has been one of my codes and my obsessions,” he added. “With Supreme, this inspiration will find its way to a new generation.”

With a campaign shot by Collier Schorr and also starring artist and designer Sancheeto, keep your eyes peeled for lines around the block when this drops on April 11.
