Danish menswear brand Tonsure, founded by ex-Maison Martin Margiela designer Malte Flagstad, are launching their collaboration with Steiff teddy bears in Selfridges today in the Men's Designer Space. Talking about why he chose to use cuddly childhood fabrics, Flagstad said, "I got hit by nostalgia...But my sense of nostalgia is rather modernistic. The fantastic French actress Simone Signoret once said in her memoirs: Nostalgia isn ́t what it used to be and so is my take on nostalgia and tradition: Always Now."

As well as looking like a cool, giant teddy if you get one of the pea coats, you'll receive your very own accompanying mini Steiff bear. The classic golden fur is the centrepiece of the collection, but there is also a black version of the fabric lining oversized shirts and bomber jackets.
