Les Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles has been a celebration of contemporary photography since it started back in 1970. It went from a local festival to a full-blown international event with figures such as Martin Parr and Christian Lacroix doing turns as guest curators. It's now open for the summer season in the South of France (running until 20th September) and here i-D picked some of the choice images.
