Last week, the human race was gifted LilohanLindsay Lohan's beguiling new accent. Kind of French, sort of Melania Trump, it was a world away from her usual throaty drawl. She later explained that her fresh way of speaking was the product of the several different languages she's currently learning. Clarifying to Mail Online, "It's a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn...I'm fluent in English and French can understand Russian and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic."

Since personally coining the term Lilohan, she's decided to put the internet's obsession with how she sounds to good use. The actress — who has spent 2016 working with Syrian refugees and venturing to educate herself on humanitarian issues — has created a line of T-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts that read "I Only Speak Lilohan." She announced the line on Twitter, encouraging followers to "retweet to support the world."

Proceeds from the sale of the garments will go to Caudwell Children and The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of Turkey. In a statement to Page Six Lindsay explained the project came about because she was looking for a way to "support children in the U.K. as I have been living there for the past four years and children are dear to my heart." Adding she also "wanted to help the Middle East in this unfortunate crisis. It think it's important we give back when we can and continue to raise awareness."

While some of her recent statements and endeavours have drawn jokes, her Brexit tweets are already internet legend, you have to hand it to her — this is a tidy way to turn a viral fixation into something positive. Hey, if you can't beat the haters, you may as well charge them for a t-shirt.
