When DJ EZ posted on his Facebook wall last night to say, "My BIG announcement is something that I've been wanting to do for quite some time. All will be revealed tomorrow," we wondered what it could possibly be. Nothing could have prepared us for this crazy announcement:

"I am delighted to announce that from 6pm on Saturday the 27th of February I will be performing a non-stop 24 hour live stream charity DJ Set with 100% of donations going to Cancer Research UK! ‪#‎DJEZ24HourSet‬"

Yep, you read that right - the legendary garage DJ will hit the decks for a continuous 24 hour live set over the final weekend in February, with all donations going straight to charity Cancer Research. "Everyone wants to beat cancer sooner," EZ says in a film released with the announcement. "I want to play my part in the fight for all people confronted with these unpredictable diseases both now and in the future," he adds.

EZ has over two decades of experience under his belt and has played a number of extended sets in his time, but nothing as hardcore as the full 24 hour stretch. Whether you need some house music to get ready to, UK Garage in the early hours, 2 step with your breakfast or a bit of lunchtime bass, head over to DJEZ.com on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th.

Support DJ EZ and Cancer Reseach UK by donating via JUSTGIVING.COM/DJ-EZ or texting DJEZ77 £ with your amount to 70070.
