Nothing says R&B pop promo like a laser light show, and for his latest video Zayn Malik has recruited the most in-demand pop video director to give the album's standout track a visual treatment.

After a recent futuristic display at the Met Gala, Zayn dons a Cyberdog-esque neon wetsuit and one red eye to dance under a shower of laser beams for his latest track "Like I Would." Sadly, no Gigi this time, but Zayn is joined by cast of dancers in Britney-like red latex, and breakdancing military men in hooded camo suits.

The dynamic performance video is helmed by Director X, the brains behind both Drake and Rihanna's latest releases. Bringing music video trends full circle, his film for Zayn echoes the late 90s/early 2000s vids of Justin Timberlake, Missy Elliott and Usher, cementing the singer's pop profile and — as a departure from the Bradford lad's X Factor days — shooting him further into the solo stratosphere.
