Richard Nicoll's first collection for Jack Wills as Creative Director is a popping amalgamation of bright reds, bold stripes, bubble gum pink and plastic rain macs in true youthful Jack Wills style. Launching in store this week, the collection is modelled by i-D fave Hollie May Saker and takes references from British sub cultures starting with Youth Quake in the 60s all the way up to 90s Brit Pop. "Jack Wills is not just about creating wardrobing for young adults. It's for anybody with a youthful spirit," Nicoll comments, "The clothing can be worn by a wide variety of ages. Mixed together, they create an irreverent image of British youth culture and a celebration of the individual in the gang." He might be taking a break from London Fashion Week this season but Richard Nicoll isn't going anywhere.
