LoveTrue is not your average, straightforward love story. The film, directed by Israeli director Alma Har'el, is part documentary, part fiction, and follows three real-life couples and the complications that surround their relationships. Added to the documentary footage, a narrative spun by the imaginary younger and older selves of the lead characters is also played out in the film, blurring the lines between reality and fantasy.

Alongside Tribeca award-winning Har'el, the dream team behind the highly anticipated film set release later this month is out of this world. Experimental music maker Flying Lotus has scored the soundtrack and performance artist, actor and meme king Shia LaBeouf signed on as executive producer. After a sneak peak of the beautiful and equally haunting trailer released today, we can't wait to see the outcome.

LoveTrue will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival this Friday, April 15.
