Jamie xx has revealed the first details about his debut solo album. Titled In Colour, the eagerly-anticipated set will be available from June via Young Turks, the British indie label that also releases the xx's music. The artist-producer shared the news in a Mixmag cover shoot in which he also confirms that his recent solo tracks Girl and Sleep Sound will appear on the album, alongside new songs called Gosh, Loud Places and Seesaw.

Four Tet will make an appearance on the album, as will Jamie's the xx bandmates Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim. Speaking to i-D last month, Jamie revealed: "Because I owe so much to them, I couldn't make [a solo album] without them on it. We all owe everything to each other."

In-demand Jamie - who has remixed for Florence and the Machine and produced for Drake and Alicia Keys - also explained why his solo album has taken longer to arrive than some fans may have expected. "Even when I started making Girl, which was probably three years ago, I did think about making my own album. But I didn't think I'd be able to do it with the time and effort it takes," he recalled. "I had this idea of making a mixtape and putting it out for free. But really I was just kidding myself to be able to make enough music for it and then I would focus on turning it into an album. Basically, it's about not overthinking it. Which I would have done if I'd thought about making an album from scratch."
