Mo Kolours aka Joseph Deenmamode is the half-Mauritian, half-British musician looping hypnotic rhythms and vocal samplings with the perfect amount of percussion for guaranteed moving and shaking. Although he often describes his music as product of his environment - the mixed up, mashed-up, melting pot city of London - the artist's Indian Ocean roots clearly infiltrate his sound. Having dropped his debut album and toured extensively last year, Mo Kolours is back with more magic in the form of his truly brilliant How I (Rhythm Love Affair EP out now on London's One Handed Music.

Ahead of a performance at Dalston's Land Of Kings Festival alongside the likes of Tom Vek and Koreless on 3rd May, we are very pleased to present the video premiere for the EP's title track, How I. Produced and directed by Plastic Horse, the beautiful animation is happily taken over by rainbow shapes dancing and swirling around the artist as he moves to the music. Invisible bongos and silhouette shakers provide the percussion as the visuals perfectly complement the spellbinding trance-like nature of the track. Look out for the point where he shoots pure musical power out of his fingertips. He's got rhythm, he's got soul, he's got our unwavering attention and appreciation. Press play and understand why.
