Need more BTS in your life? Your favourite K-pop group just announced their MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR, an epic 37-date stint due to kick off at Seoul’s Olympic Stadium on 11 April. Spanning five months, they’ll be performing for fans in 17 cities across Europe, Asia and the US. Really making up for that ultimately rather brief “extended period of rest and relaxation”, huh? So if you missed catching them live during 2019’s sold out LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF tour, now’s your chance to get involved.
The announcement follows the release of the emo-tinged new single “Black Swan” (criminally only their fourth release to make it into the UK Top40 chart) and exciting news that the group’s seventh studio album, MAP OF THE SOUL: 7 will drop on 21 February.
Londoners: they’ll be taking over the Twickenham rugby ground of all places for a double dose on 3 and 4 July. New Yorkers will have to venture across the water to New Jersey to the similarly vast Metlife Stadium, home of the Jets and Giants NFL teams, where they’ll also play two nights on 23 and 24 May. The jury is still out on where the mystery location earmarked for 13-14 June might be, but in the meantime check out the full list of tour dates and locations below.
General release tickets don’t go on sale until 7 February via Live Nation, so be sure to set a reminder now. Official ARMY fanclub members, you’re up first, with access to sales two whole days early.
