Can you tell us: A film you’ve watched… Dreams by Akira Kurosawa. This movie took me to a whole different world, more than any movie I’ve ever watched in my life. An album that you’ve been listening to… Colour Green by Sibylle Baier, it’s a soft and lyrical gem. I’m big on instrumental music. A book that you’ve read… The Sun Underground by Christopher Ferreiras. It’s a whole rotation around the sun in one book. A book that you’ve “read” but haven’t finished... The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde is that book. I’m reading ”one chapter at a time”. A meme that made you laugh… The grumpy looking cat who did all the make-up tutorials. An argument you’ve had… My sister and I had an exchange of words over her obsession with TikTok, which was kind of a silly argument? There, I said it! I’m unable to get on board with most of the new social media apps. A meal that you’ve made that you enjoyed... Veggie samosas with avocado chutney. A meal that you’ve made that you didn’t enjoy... The other day I got carried away while cooking some beans and ended up adding way too much peanut butter in it. It was hard for me to eat that ”experiment” of a meal, ha! A revelation that you’ve had... I’ve learned more about the value of solitude and the place human connections and nature hold in our being. A strange online purchase you’ve made... I’m not much of a shopper, so I didn’t purchase anything online in an impulse besides a charging cable that still hasn’t arrived, ha! What you’re going to do when this is all over… Continue to live and explore this thing called life.

I’m taking control and letting go of my feelings which I didn’t have time or mental space to confront in my busy day-to-day life. A strange impulse purchase you’ve made online... We adopted a cat since we’re both home all the time, best decision we’ve had yet! What you’re going to do when all this is over... I really miss working. Some were actually really good but some were just kind of sad. A revelation that you’ve had... I felt like a loser when I realised that I don’t need to see people all the time like I had previously thought I did. A meme that’s made you laugh… X Æ A-12 is probably the best at the moment. An argument you’ve had… I’ve got some control issues so I’m sure I was a pain to my boyfriend when we were quarantining in New York, especially when I was hungry. A meal that you’ve made that you enjoyed… I’m proud to say I’ve gotten very good at making breakfast sandwiches. A meal that you’ve made that you didn’t enjoy… I am not nearly as good at preparing salmon despite being a proud Seattleite. A revelation that you’ve had… This is hardly a revelation and more of a hidden talent but I’ve discovered that I’m incredibly good at jigsaw puzzles. A strange impulse purchase you’ve made online… The Klutz friendship bracelet making kit which has been comfortingly nostalgic. What you’re going to do when all this is over… Eating out as much as my bank account will allow.

Can you tell us: A film you’ve watched... Mamma Mia! An album you’ve been listening to... I’ve been listening to Seventeen Seconds by The Cure on repeat. A book you’ve read... No Longer Human by Osamu Dazai. A book that you’ve “read” but haven’t actually finished... Cosmos by Carl Sagan. An argument you’ve had... I’ve been staying at my parents house with my older brother for two months now. It’s hard to pick just one. A meal that you’ve made that you enjoyed… My mom and I made schnitzel, spaetzle and fresh green beans. A meal that you’ve made that you didn’t enjoy… Couscous. A revelation that you’ve had… I recently witnessed a young person going out of their way to bring joy to a dying elderly woman. I’ll never forget her smile and the sparkle in her eyes. As human beings we have the opportunities to make people smile and bring them happiness. Why wouldn’t we do that? A strange impulse purchase you’ve made online… As soon as quarantine started I bought tickets to see New Order x Pet Shop Boys in concert with my dad. I don’t know if if it will still happen but I just couldn’t resist. What you’re going to do when all this is over… Take my dog to the beach.
