watch rihanna behind the scenes for dior
Rihanna is the best dressed tour guide ever in this behind the scene film of her Dior campaign shoot in the Palace of Versailles.
The full version of Rihanna's dramatic short film for Dior, released to accompany her historic campaign for the French fashion house (she is the first black Dior campaign star ever), was released earlier this week and now we have the first of two behind the scenes films. Shot by Evan E Rodgers at Steven Klein's shoot at the Palace of Versailles, we first see Rihanna poking her head out of the window of her trailer, before arriving at the Palace, applying her own lipstick and smoldering into the camera lens, as well as cracking a smile for the crew.
RiRi takes on the role of tour guide (albeit one in a sequin Dior gown) as she introduces us to the one of the most spectacular rooms in the palace: "This is the Palace of Versailles," she says, "and right now we are in the hall of mirrors, a hall of chandeliers and mirrors," she beams, as the afternoon Paris sun streams through the tall windows onto her high-neck, long sleeve sequin gown, transforming it into a haute glitter ball that reflects dancing light around the room.
"We shut down the entire palace for this shoot!", Rihanna exclaims, adding, "It's pretty exciting. It does not get much better than that! I feel honored; really. To be here, in such an historical place." A second behind the scenes film is set to be released tomorrow.
