Calling all budding Instagrammers (come on, seriously, they mean you): Getty Images will be rewarding three lucky winners $10,000 each to "document stories from underrepresented communities around the world." Forget selfies, Met Ball first looks and fashion weeks, because this competition is all about untold stories and going in search of the unseen. It's about the people, places and events whose names rack up neither headlines nor hashtags. "We've been thinking very much about our grant programs, and what kind of support we should give to photographers," Getty Images' senior director of content partnerships Elodie Mailliet Storm told TIME. "We wanted to make sure that we reached communities that that are not necessarily being featured in mainstream media, not because their stories are not important but because they don't have access to mainstream media." Not only are Getty offering cash prizes, winners will also receive professional mentorships from Getty Images' photographers and have their work displayed at the New York Photoville exhibition this September, when the winners are revealed. To enter, all you have to do is take 10-20 photographs of your chosen subjects before June 4th. Good luck!
