Earl Jeffers, aka Chesus, is definitely one of Wales' finest underground musical exports. With music laced with soul, groove, and musicality complemented perfectly by his ever strong sampling game, the Welsh producer's releases for the likes of Local Talk, Melangé, Gerd's 4lux and Doc Daneeka's Ten Thousand Yen have seen him gain big support from all corners of the scene (from Mosca and Ben Sims through to the king Kerri Chandler). Now, i-D is pleased to share the title track from his forthcoming EP on Ten Thousand Yen. Out June 17, this is "Gloria.

"I had no clue it would turn out this way. I just had the spirit of my late grandmother, Gloria, a stack of records, some green, and let the chips fall where they may," says Jeffers. Enjoy!
