@amberrose

Amber Rose has spent 2015 reigniting a passionate public conversation about slut shaming, reclaiming the walk of shame and recently led a powerful SlutWalk in L.A. (plus, she's just written a book). But apparently, that's not enough. Amber's past relationships continue to receive higher billing than her own achievements.

A recent GQ profile described her as "Kanye's infamous ex", "Wiz Khalifa's baby mama" and a "megalomanic muse." Sure, you might've first seen her with West, but that was five years ago. These days, Amber uses her public profile to encourage meaningful discourse surrounding feminist issues that really matter. She's not dwelling on these former flames, and the media shouldn't either.

Amber took to Instagram, delivering this critique of the profile.

Really @gq??? I'm so much more then Kanye's Ex or Wiz's baby's mama. Damn, why the fuck did u guys reach out to me for this article and photoshoot? To dumb me down? I talked about feminism and my Slutwalk... Wtf nice title smh I expected so much more from u guys and I'm so disappointed. I was so excited to be featured in GQ not realizing I was shooting for a tabloid. My slutwalk was for ignorant shit like this. Oh "Her beautiful dark twisted journey to the top"? Nice pun. Negative af. Thx for nothing.

GQ also pointed out that Rose was a "teen stripper," although its cover profile on her fellow teen stripper, Channing Tatum, took a bit of a different angle on this past. Rose pointed out this glaring double standard by sharing a picture of the pair, captioned "Channing Tatum #LegendaryTeenStrippers"
