In vastly exciting news, RuPaul is reportedly filming a daytime TV show along the lines of The View, which is already being christened The Ru (genius). The television pilot is being made with Telepictures, the syndication arm of Warner Bros. behind The Ellen Show, and is slated to launch in fall 2019. According to Variety, the show “will be filmed in front of a live audience, will feature the host bringing his unique, positive, and aspirational point of view to the format, interviewing celebrities, giving beauty and glam tips, playing games, and dishing on pop culture.” Sadly, it won’t see him do “cooking or exercise segments,” which is a shame as we’d love to know what the diva’s ageless wellness secrets are.

RuPaul will be accompanied by BFF Michelle Visage, which is sure to bring a heaping of salty goodness to proceedings. No word on the guests, but if it’s anything like the lineup of Drag Race, it’s sure to be stellar — recent seasons have seen Christina Aguilera, Marc Jacobs, and Lady Gaga on the judging panel.
