"I've compiled some of the most beautiful music I've ever heard and glued it together with some of my own ideas. Only afterwards I realised that all artists come from a narrow latitude-band: 45th Parallel North up to the Polar Circle (66°). I don't know if it's just me, being from the Alps, or maybe it's the rather cold temperature that makes those composers' music so incredibly touching. I'd like to send out huge gratitude for their inspiration and art to Bon Iver, Radiohead, The Cinematic Orchestra, Massive Attack, Daughter, Aphex Twin, Beady Belle, Jónsi and Arvo Pärt. Enjoy the mix and see you to the land of nod." Manu Delago

The party's still going strong, but you want to call it a night; what track do you pop on when everyone's still raving and it's time to go to sleep?Igor Stravinsky, Rite of Spring - It's one of the most genius pieces of music history. It's got an amazing energy but usually is too challenging for a late night, so people will leave (slightly agitated).

Where do you go when the record ends and the lights come on?
If there is no ping pong table or tabletop football around, then most likely to bed.

After a hectic tour schedule, you finally get home, what track do you put on to kick back and relax?
John Cage, 4'33 - another highlight of the 20th Century.

Do you ever fall asleep to music, and if so what do you play?
Pretty much anything I listen to on an aeroplane makes me fall asleep.

What's the best dream you've ever had?
My almost 60-year-old classical composition teacher with long white hair was top goalscorer in the Austrian football Bundesliga.

Who is the last person you kissed good night?
My favourite woman.

You've caught each other's eye across a crowded dance floor. What do you play to ensure things move from the box to the bedroom?
Difficult question, but I guess that depends on the eyes.

Sleep is always the hardest to come by when you need it the most. What track is guaranteed to bring on the shut eye after a heavy weekend?
Again, John Cage, 4'33 but the extended version.

What track makes you want to cuddle up to the one you love?
The Cinematic Orchestra, To Build a Home / Familiar Ground

What song gets you out of bed in the morning?
The Prodigy, Spitfire.

What is the most relaxing track/ mix/ playlist in your collection? And what do you like to do when listening to it?
Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg, Still D.R.E. I smoke a cup of tea.

Finish the sentence, the music sounds better with…
A bassoon.
