We spoke to club kids around the country about why partying is important in many queer lives, and how we can work together to make it better.

What do you do?
I'm an assistant manager for Pandora, customer service extraordinaire. I also go out for nice long walks when it's nice and sunny.

What does the "perfect night out" look like for you?
It can be sober night outs or dancing for for hours to BANGERS with or without drugs. Both are good.

Why is the club such an important haven for gender diverse and queer kids?
It creates a safe space for expression without judgement. Most 'safe spaces' could definitely be even more inclusive. But the safe spaces that clubs offer are great if you have no other avenues to express yourself or it's unsafe for you to do so.
