This week we welcome a drum and bass legend into the mix. Teije van Vliet aka Lenzman is one of the most revered producers and DJs in the game, a man of unrivalled style and musicality. Widely respected by his peers, Lenzman's output has seen releases come on labels such as Spearhead, Subtitles, Soul:R, DJ Friction's Shogun Audio, Goldie's legendary Metelheadz... the list goes on and on.

His long-standing relationship with Metalheadz Recordings began, on paper, back in 2010 with the instant classic, Open Page. The track rippled through the scene and put the name Lenzman on the lips of everyone in the scene. Featuring the soothing voice one of the genre's leading ladies, and long term Lenzman collaborator Riya, we've since been treated to numerous Metalheadz releases that have flaunted the producers inimitable style.

2014 saw the release of Looking At The Stars, Vliet's debut album. A project that saw the producer span his influences from hip hop, soul and beyond. If you haven't check out his hip hop mixes, you really, really should, but for now we welcome him into the mix doing what he does best. Rolling out 60 minutes of deep drum & bass, enter the sound of Lenzman.

What are the top three tracks getting heavy rotation in your sets?
Alix Perez & Ivy Lab, The Last Night
Calibre, Under Bars
SpectraSoul & dBridge, Glimpse (Ivy Lab Remix)

What's the most hedonistic party you've ever been to?
Queensday, Amsterdam.

What's the most phenomenal clubbing venue in the world and why?
This is a hard one. The festival grounds of Outlook / Dimensions are up there and are the first thing that spring to mind. Pretty unreal out there and the boat parties are amazing to play.

If you could go back to back with any DJ, at any venue, who would it be and why?
I'd go with Alchemist, at some squat in Queensbridge, New York City.

History is made at night... What was the best night of your life?
The night my daughter was born. Indescribable.

What's the most debauched thing you've ever seen on the dance floor?
I once played a party that had this famous porn star walking around with a remote controlled vibrator inserted in her vagina. She was passing around the remote to it to people in the crowd. I did not just make this up.

What would your dream rider consist of?
Whatever is on DJ Khaled's rider.

What does your actual rider consist of?
Some boring technical requirements and booze (for my friends) to drink.

What's your favourite party anthem of all time?
Not sure most people would classify this as anything close to a party anthem, but when I'm drunk you can see me lose my shit whenever Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. 2. comes on. I'll also be doing the lyrics. It gets deep.

What producer are you predicting big things from this year?
Ivy Lab, LSB.

Where do you go when the record ends and the lights come on?
To the hotel as I'm a dad now.

What track would you end the night on when everyone's still awake and its time to go to sleep?
Shine On You Crazy Diamond by Pink Floyd

What's your party trick?
I'm the walking Hip Hop encyclopedia.

Finish the sentence, the music sounds better with...
Friends that were there with you.
