The LP will be Lana's third major-label offering, which has now been stamped with a release date. At a recent show, Lana announced that it'll arrive in September. In anticipation of the release, we check out everything there is to know about the record.

The Title...
Though early reports suggest the album would be titled Music to Watch Boys to Lana has since confirmed the album will be titled Honeymoon.

The Sound...
Lana describes the album's sound as "furuteretro." She's also spoken about the record taking on a darker tone than previous releases, telling Billboard, "I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one."

The Visuals...
Known for her Super 8 laced music videos, Lana told fans on Instagram that she'd already shoot two videos to accompany the album.

The production...
She's been in the studio with Marc Ronson this year. The producer told Interview that Lana "has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she'll like them and we'll go from there." As for Lana's own songwriting, she's explained that lyrically she's "ready to go into more of a 'Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds' surrealist place."

The Songs...
In an interview with Billboard back in January, Lana revealed she was "doing a cover of 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'." a classic Nina Simone track. Ultraviolence, the singer's latest album, concluded with a cover of Jessie Mae Robinson's 'The Other Woman', as popularised by Nina Simone.
