Actress, Chanel muse, and LGBTQ activist Kristen Stewart has revealed that she's working on a new project with the music group Chvrches to raise awareness for Planned Parenthood. Stewart has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump — who is currently attempting to defund Planned Parenthood — since the former reality TV show star announced his presidential candidacy. Stewart's relationship with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson was, in fact, the focus of a series of 2012 Trump tweets (beginning, "Everyone knows I am right that Robert Pattinson should dump Kristen Stewart"). Earlier this year, Trump signed an executive order to attempt to take away funding from Planned Parenthood, an organization which currently provides healthcare, abortions, STD testing, and family planning amongst so many other things. An estimated one in five women in the U.S. has visited a Planned Parenthood health center at least once in her life.

Scottish electronic group Chvrches are in the midst of recording their third album, and Stewart revealed to the LA Times in a new interview that she's been wanting to work with them for some time now. "I had been asking them to let me do something for them for a while, they're so good," she said. Stewart didn't reveal what her role would be in the project, or whether there were plans to generate funding for Planned Parenthood.

In an interview with Variety in January, Stewart discussed Trump's tweets about her relationship with Robert Pattinson, saying that his presidential campaign had kickstarted her interest in politics. She explained, "I've never been the most politically charged person, but I think at this point, it's not political. It's fucking so humanitarian..."

Kristen is currently promoting her leading role in the new thriller Personal Shopper. She also recently filmed a music video for Chvrches's Every Open Eye track "Down Side Of Me." It's unclear if the Planned Parenthood collaboration involves new music, or if the discussion of the collab is an allusion to the music video.

In the wake of Trump's election, nonprofits like Planned Parenthood, ACLU, and CAIR have been getting a lot of love from celebrities. A collaboration between St. Vincent, Zach Galifianakis, and John Legend is also in the works for Planned Parenthood.
