There's nothing like the fearless creativity of youth, but when you marry it with experience, you're guaranteed a win.

That's the theme of the film that will be launched later tonight, on the eve of menswear designer Lou Dalton's spring/summer 16 show, which celebrates her ongoing collaboration with esteemed wool specialist house Cerruti.

"A world in which there is a lot of history and a lot of tradition, combined with the inventiveness and the freedom of thinking of young people is an ideal matching," says Nino Cerruti, who started his career age 10, spending his vacations helping out in the wool mill. Given that he's still at the top of his game over 70 years later, Cerruti makes a good case for sacrificing some tanning time for tutelage this summer for those looking to crack the fashion industry.

And anticipating what is sure to be a similarly lengthy career, Lou Dalton adds, "in fashion, you don't have an age." So what can we expect from this harmonious combination of youth and tradition? "Innocence and a sense of joy."
