Claire Boucher, AKA Grimes, said back in May that she would "surprise release" her next album to fans on social media and it looks like that process has begun. Fresh from announcing The Rhinestone Cowgirls tour in the US, and the Acid Reign tour in Europe, Grimes has now revealed the album title, Art Angels, and posted cover art drawn in her inimitable horror-zine style on social media, with the promise that new music and a video will be dropping next week.

On the cover, a bleeding, three-eyed space elf floats next to a planet and shooting star, while a side-panel features a pink haired elfin creature that closely resembles Boucher, with a "No. 4" (this is Grimes' fourth album), and what we hope has nothing to do with the price: "1000,00000$". As her fans on Twitter put it: "yaaaaaaaas finally omg," "I'M HYPERVENTILATING" and "I WANT TO THANK NOT ONLY GOD BUT JESUS TOO".
