The What Is Love? Issue of i-D is out now, and to celebrate the variety of warm, giddy feelings, states and emotions the "L" word evokes, we photograph the coolest couples, lovers, friends and their cats, straight up.
Where are you from?
George: Manchester and Brighton, both currently living in London.
What do you do?
George: I'm studying Fine Art at Camberwell College of Arts and work with video installation.
Niall: I study Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and I recently launched a magazine called Taint.
How/when did you meet each other?
George: At a party in halls, just after we'd moved to London.
What were your first impressions on each other?
Niall: We basically really fancied each other.
What are your favorite features of each other?
George: We each really value the other's perspective. Both of us are painfully indecisive so it's nice to have someone around who can help with decisions. Having said that, we still take around four hours to settle on a film.
What bad habits have you picked up from each other?
George: Eating out too much.
Niall: Smoking cigarettes.
If money was no object, what would you buy each other for their birthday?
George: A diamanté Ped Egg.
Niall: A hair transplant.
What is love?
George:"Accidentally" dressing in matching outfits every single day.
How old were you and who was it with the first time you ever fell in love?
George: My first dog Jasmine (RIP) will always be the one.
Niall: When I was about 10 and it was with Avril Lavigne.
Can you find real love on the internet?
Niall: A person could definitely meet someone online with whom you could build up a relationship but it is hard to imagine falling in love with somebody who you've never met. Basically, no.
Whats the best thing about being young in 2014?
George: Having an iPhone.
