What better way to start the week than by welcoming one of the UK's most-loved underground house music producers into the mix for i-D. Making groovy house that's infectious enough to get even the house haters moving, Milton Keynes-based Jamie Trench has been killing it with releases on Tsuba and his own label Roots For Bloom, as well as recent killer cuts on Sinnmusik with the Still Need It EP. Stepping up with 62 minutes of deep disco, house and techo grooves, enter the sound of Jamie Trench.

What are the top three tracks getting heavy rotation in your sets?
Michael Walsh, Before When It Was New
L'Atelier, Just Another Piano Solo
Stefan Ringer, MUYM (KZR Remix)

What's the most hedonistic party you've ever been to?
Think I'd have to say Bestival here, it was just 4 days of absolute barmy fun. Knocking around woods, climbing trees, every style of music you could ask for.

What's the most phenomenal clubbing venue in the world and why?
Amnesia terrace holds a fond place in my heart for big events, for smaller places recently I've been really impressed by Chalet in Berlin.

If you could go back to back with any DJ, at any venue, who would it be and why?
Dinky at Panorama Bar, just for the absolute schooling I'd get.

What would your dream rider consist of?
As many of my mates as I could get there.

What does your actual rider consist of?
Some Jameson Whiskey, coke and ice.

What's your favourite party anthem of all time?
James Brown, Pappas Got a Brand New Bag

Do you think music subcultures are losing their definition?
I read this and all I thought about was Subculture in Glasgow.

Where do you go when the record ends and the lights come on?
If the party was great and there's a carry on why the hell not.

What track would you end the night on when everyone's still awake and its time to go to sleep?
Herbert, Going Round (Hmmmm Mix). If that's not a dream inducer I don't know what is.

Finish the sentence, the music sounds better with…
Good company.
