The minds behind some of our favourite gatherings—Inner Varnika, Strawberry Fields and Common Ground to name a few—have come together to curate Something Unlimited, a festival taking place at Northcote Town Hall this February. With a focus on smart music and immersive experiences courtesy of Soft Centre's Mikaela Stafford and Confetti Studio, this is a beautiful addition to Melbourne's festival calendar.

From an international perspective, music will be courtesy of Japan's Mori Ra (with his vision of balearic, disco, fusion, funk, new wave, new age, jazz, rock, experimental and everything in between), Detroit house DJ Rick Wilhite, The First Lady of Beatdown—Lady Blacktronika and L.A's retro-futuristic house DJ Urulu. Locally, there's so many faves new and old. Adding to the lineup is: Adriana, Allysha Joy, Blume, Darcy Justice, Gregor, Loure, Midlife, Sunnyside, Sui Zhen and guaranteed party prolongers Wax'o Paradiso.

The icing on this cake is surely the fact that they're focussing on quality local food, good drinks and a zero-tolerance approach to single use plastics.

Something Unlimited will be held at Northcote Town Hall on February 16th 2019. Head over to the Something Unlimited Facebook page to check out the full line-up announcement.
