Running from 21st - 24th May at Somerset House (where Sir John Herschel allegedly coined the term "photography" in 1839) is Photo London, a celebration of images from masters to street style snappers. As well as exhibitions from selected galleries from across the globe (Bangalore, Moscow, Istanbul, Tokyo and more), there are talks, screenings and a special show of rarely seen works from the V&A's collection. Talent present includes Brazilian social documentarian Sebastião Salgado, war photographer Don McCullin, historian Simon Schama and MOMA's chief curator of photography, Quentin Bajac. To give you a taste of what's on show, we've picked our top ten from the photography event.

Photo London runs 21st - 24th May at Somerset House, Strand, London WC2R 1LA.
