watch the kills roll around la in the video for 'heart of a dog'
The second video from upcoming album 'Ash & Ice' sees the transatlantic rockers chilling by a cactus-lined pool and driving through lit up Los Angeles night.
Fresh from rolling around on top of cars in an LA graveyard in the video for "Doing It To Death," the Kills' Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince have just released a second video from the upcoming album Ash & Ice, for track "Heart Of A Dog," that sees them roll around on the top more of cars outside a cactus-filled LA home. The clip, which also finds them mucking about by a pool, swinging in hammocks, sketching in the studio, and driving around LA at night, was directed by the British filmmaker Sophie Muller, who has also made videos for Garbage, Beyoncé, the Strokes, and loads more.
"We are very very especially pleased to release our new music video for Heart of A Dog!," the band said in a statement. "It was shot all day and into the night in Los Angeles by our dear friend, the tremendous talent, Sophie Muller. We love this video. We love it because it's fucking fun. Muscle cars and backflips. Palms trees and cacti. Dogs and dice. Neon and sunshine. We hope you love it as much as we do. VROOM VROOM. Love, The Kills."
Playing a sold out European tour in April and May, the band will then head to the US until early June, returning to Europe for a string of festival dates including Isle of Wight, Benicassim, and Way Out West, and coming back to the UK for a string of city dates in September and October that go on sale this Friday, April 22.
