Covered in tattoos, piercings, and knuckle-duster rings, Sven Marquardt is Berghain's terrifying yet talented bouncer. When he's not guarding the gates to Berlin's notoriously selective club, he's been busy documenting the city and the rise of its techno scene through beautiful black and white film photography. After traveling to Australia earlier this year, his Future's Past exhibition is set to bring some of Berlin's grit to sunny Ibiza. Keeping strong ties to the techno scene, the exhibition will also be accompanied by music created by Italian artist ÆQUAL, who "reworks millennial sacred music with synthesizers and drum machines."

'Future's Past' runs from August 15-24 at Hangar 8289 in Ibiza.
