The UK's biggest showcase of short film and a Mecca for our young creative talent, the London Short Film Festival returned to the ICA , Hackney Picturehouse and Oval Space for it's 12th year last week, including 34 programs of work including "Fucked Up Love," "Teenage Girls Go Crazy," and "Lo-Budget Mayhem." Running until the 18th January, get tickets to see the collection of films in each program here, catch riot grrrl trio Skinny Girl Diet tomorrow, after the "Teenage Girl Aesthetic" event, join curatorial initiative I am Dora on 15th January at the ICA to talk about how Beyoncé, FKA Twigs and Lily Allen are all reclaiming the objectifying aspects of the music video and don't miss the awards night party next Saturday at Oval Space.
