Legendary music video director Michel Gondry returns to the world of music videos with his first promo since Metronomy's Love Letters, turning a group of grey-clad ladies into a human automaton for the latest Chemical Brothers track, Go featuring Q Tip, taken from their album Born From The Echoes out 7th July.

The clip, released yesterday evening, features a monochromatic gang of women simulating modernist automobiles in a sharply edited, abstract video, dividing fans of the French director due to it's simplistic style choices. Marching around a similarly modernist building, the femme-bots retain that trademark Gondry mysticism, giving no explanation as to what they are searching for, or working towards.

Whichever side of the fence you sit on, it's definitely exciting to see new work by Gondry, hopefully it won't be a year before his next one!
