Whole lotta fun, prizes to be won! Tickets to join the boys at Camden’s Dublin Castle for their Anthems For Doomed Youth launch have already sold out.

While most opt for a gig followed by a spot of record signing, Pete, Carl et al have instead decided to celebrate their forthcoming release by hosting Somewhere Over The Railings, a whole "week of shenanigans" in a Camden pub. The album, Anthems For Doomed Youth, will be their first in over a decade, following their split post self-titled record in 2004 and of course Up The Bracket, their 2002 debut.

Alongside what we can only imagine will be a likely lad-themed pub quiz, the line-up (running from 31st August -- 4th September) includes a photography exhibition, playbacks, a premiere of the band's Thailand documentary, and a pop-up shop selling rare Libertines memorabilia. Money raised from the events will go to the Rock'N'Roll Rescue Charity, with proceeds from further nationwide album playbacks going to the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Here's hoping they mark the occasion by treating diehard fans (who have already bagged themselves a ticket) to a surprise pub performance.

Somewhere Over The Railings runs from 31s August - 4th September.

Anthems For Doomed Youth is due for release on 4th September.
